Prayer Unleashed

A year and a half ago, my life was falling apart. I was barely getting by financially and professionally. I lived in a place that made me miserable. I had to listen to people yelling all day long – at me, around me. The winter seemed to get longer and harsher. As if that weren’t exhausting enough, I developed tumors that put me an inch away from adrenal failure.

“GOD! There has to be more than this!”

I'm a lifelong Christian and I've been a prayer warrior for as long as I can remember. But let me tell you, when I yelled those words at my Heavenly Father, I thought I was done. God had kept me alive, kept me hopeful, kept food on the table through so much adversity. How dare I throw a temper tantrum! I half expected lightning to strike me, and at that point, I probably wouldn't have cared.

Instead, I received a very quiet, patient and loving response from Him: “Finally. Now I can work in your life.”

Since that moment, I have learned to unleash my prayers and blast open the communication channels with God, and it has changed my life. When you unleash your prayers and have an honest conversation with God, you'll discover all the blessings He wants to give you. No matter where you are in your prayer life right now, you can always work to intensify your connection with God. Do it! You'll be amazed at His response.
